What is a "fluffy" Frenchie?
A fluffy French bulldog is a rare variation of the French bulldog breed that has longer fur than the typical short-haired French bulldog. The longer fur is the result of the LH gene, also known as the Fibroblast Growth Factor, which is present in the French bulldog population but is recessive. This means that a dog must inherit two LH genes to have long hair, and carriers of the gene have short hair.
